IS50. TM-45v7. 5m KA Koncept

Very nice day for the middle of winter. Almost the perfect conditions but the best arrived too late when I was spent. Hands were not working from the cold. Did't feel cold but the hands had given up anyhow.

At the start it was 25 knots with short gusts to 30. At the very end there were sustained gusts over 30! But I could not take advantage of it.Cry

One of my best runs was on Toms CA-40 with the new TM-45v8 and 4.4m Knocept. This fin felt VERY nice! A big step up on my much abused v7. Highly recommended. :) I liked the board too........

I did not do one gybe so no Alpha/1 hr/NM.

Was fun , great to have PB,s .First over 40 average and first serious over 40 wipeout. It hurts !!!Ha. I shouldn't sound  dissapointed but my display showed 44.46, but I am still stoked. Can't wait for next time.

Nice one guys. I considered a quick road trip for this one, as I saw it coming on Guru - but then work got in the way..... Nice to see a 40+ knot session still isn't enought to shake the FNQ boys from the top - for now anyway.

Kato: Working for 4 hours, and sailing for 4. What could be better? How about sailing for 8 hours?

We're not even on the board yet this month. We've had a lot of rain, but not much wind. Our beloved Alpha Channel at Goolwa has risen by 8cm with all the rain, so hopefully a decent blow will still flatten it out.

Well done chaps!

Just got a message from Tom C. He can't fix his wind generator today because it is still bowing a gale so he is going sailing again. :) Looks like we might get a cruise on Saturday to do some alpha, 1 hour and maybe a NM.

Hi guys,

Great numbers.  Can't wait to do another road trip over there again!  Would be happy with any sail at the moment after a dodgy few weeks.  Looking forward to seeing the other guys post.

On my Sp40 I have been running the front straps back and I just moved the back strap forward.

Slowie had all of his straps forward last time I saw him.

My mast base is just behind center.

SP40's ROCK!!

Thanks Geoff , Now I know why I was so exhausted , all that walking in deep water . The sand was so soft in places on the bank , at one stage I sunk up to my crutch. Kato is the smart one , tacks back up!!!
