Another session trying to dial the new board in, couldn't get to 33kts, so took the old board out and got 2 more kts. Think I'm about ready to try some weights. Claude, Tim, hardie and crasher were going much better, be interesting to see their posts.

Using doppler

TR-4 6.3, AB 54 24cm elmo classic

Quick sesh down at hardies. First time on my 6.3. Noticed a big difference. Board sail combo felt very balanced. First run got mid 38 on dial. second run a 39. Third go cracked the 40. Yeeehaaaaa got my goal for the year while i was on cyclone evac and on xmas day.Hovered around the 40 and 39 mark on alot of runs. Once again taking the foot off the pedal to early for the nautical mile.Got out the 46 AB speed board for a few runs.Think it would suit the 5.9 better.Had to rush off early because I have a dam plane to catch. Young Tim cracked the big one I think with hardie hot on his heals. Claude an mike going nuts as usual.

Catch you all in the new yearTongue out Sam I'm feeling for you mate.

great christmas sail!have not had one for ages.Very quiet for melville only a small crew out so had a lot of space, rigged up the 5.8  for the first time in 3 months and put it on the 100 super sport.the combo felt sweet very controlable but could have had a slightly bigger sail.may need to look at smaller fins too.happy with the pb's!

Hey Guyz mine was a bit of a fun post.  The speeds are in Trackpoints.  The Display on the GT-11 for the one I have a card that works was 39.19kts.  The other GT-11 in which the card doesn't work the display was 39.38kts. So I thought I'd earn't myself a 39, so when I read the realspeed Doppler 38.89kts I thought fvck thatYell, and I was in such a good mood yesterdaySmile I decided to give myself a Trackpoint presentCool, so I'm still a long way off a Doppler 40kt realspeed 2 sec.  Though It is definitely felt the fastest I've ever sailed.  I've got myself into a habit of clearing my data after each sail, as I filled up my GT-11 once before owning a card, and lost a great session coz it was full.  If I'd thought about it more I should have kept the data on the other one and bought it round to someone's for a Navi'Link off the machine.  But that's getting too serious on xmas day, I'm happy, It was agreat feeling and the fastest I've ever sailed what more could one wantLaughingCool

Track Point Data from the card on the GT-11 with 39.19 on the dial was as follows:

25/12/08

20 hr 27 min  28sec  39.027

                      29sec  39.660

                      30 sec 39.810

                      31 sec 39.124

                      32 sec 38.537
