6.0 v6, 110l x-cite, 30.5cm jpweedie. Changed to 92l fsw 26cm jp weedwave. YeeeehaaaLaughingLaughingLaughing  Cracked that 33 after a few runs, overpowered on the run home but, who gives a toss, moved the mast foot forward 1cm and made all the difference. The boys had some serious speed happening at Hardies, looking forward to the other posts LaughingLaughingLaughing  Jaysus this beer tastes good

Firstly a huge thanx to Decrepit, what a greeat mate and talented man, he fixed my beloved Gaastra vapor 6m, I love you MikeKiss.  Congrats to Pepe and Steve great efforts.  F2 Missile S Gaastra Vapor 6m Hybrid 21 cm weed.  Wind was nowhere near as strong today, so even better effort on PB's.

Posted speeds in Doppler. Track Point 2 sec was 35.815.  GT-11 Display one = 36.09  GT-11 Display 2 = 35.65  Gotta swap my fn card to the faster one, it's always .1 to point 4 faster, but it's just not as reliable as no.2, sometimes 1 doesn't fn record, can't take the risk, just gotta buy a card that works for it!!!!!!!!!!

JP265, tush 6.5 and yet again modified (on puropose) Maisch weedy.

Initially went for hour (got to water about 1600) Then stopped and saw Pepe on beach. He seemed fairly relaxed: had just broken 33kts. I was going to pack up however Pepe's speed spurred me on, had a chat with PD who helped me tune my sail (best so far today 30.5 kts). First run 32.7 on dialCool. wind was up and down. Look forward to more and steadier windCool

Time to go home after this run, but felt so comfortable..... more to come on this rig. Thanks very much for the help Peter.

JP Slalom IV 104L, NP RS4 6.7, JP Slalom III 36cm.

JP Slalom II 84L, Funky Elmo Weed 27.5cm.

Went out with the view of doing an hour again, Dannsy said he'd toodle along for something to do. had wind all the way across tonight which was nice, Jeeze Tim you are right Claudesville is amazing on the other side of the platform.

First run was done in typical Elmo fashion blasting out from shore we come accross some tosser in a dirty great big boat trying to see if he could get in front of us rather than letting us past, hit the wake behind the boat just as it jacked up and got launched skywards, board would have got easy shoulder high on a cack handed jump which I promptly stacked the landingEmbarassed.

Still wouldn't say I was completed powered up as the board was banging the water pretty hard but there was definately enough to keep going.

Was working on the gybes after reading up on the internet which seemed to help.

Last run across to the other side I was contemplating doing a few sneaky runs in Claudesville as it was about 4kms of flat stuff, when I went to unhook to go for a gybe and I couldn't unhookSurprised Hmmm whats going on here  I ask myself, look down and the harness line is inside the hook, it is at this moment that my muppet brain kicks in and say's to me "shit I've broken a harness line" even though I've just been sailing with it.Embarassed Logic eventually kicks in and I try to have a look past my fat gutEmbarassed cant see the spreader bar (podgty basket)Embarassed feel along the spreader bar and find that 1 side of the hook has brokenSurprised Oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttt I'm 8km's away from baseSurprised Controled crash get the harness line untangled from the hook and very very very gingerly sail back to base with a liberal trikle of brown running down my legsEmbarassed.

Got back watch Hard's belting down the run thought I'd have a go at that, rigged up the 84L and my newly modified Funkyelmo fin, went for a blast, tried taking a shport cut and scrunged the fin smeg!Surprised eventually got out of the shallows and got a bit of a run fins behaving quite nicely, cool it'l be ok for a windier day, coming back when SSSSSSCCCCCCCCCCCRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEE

YellYellYellYellYellYellYellYellYell

Bugger I just ground the bejesus out the fin on the big flat limestone reef I was telling Dannsy about, oh well back to the sander the funkyelmo goes.

Big thanks to Pedro for keeping me company on the one hour, realistically I was mainly watchig him dissapear into the distance. Also for the spare spreader bar

Thanks to Hardy for giving me the reason to push myself harder than I would normallyCool

Congrats to Pepe and Evets for their PBs today, onya boys looks to be a good rivalry starting thereCool

Now that Decrepit mentions it Pepe, the MM Secret Weapon may be the very thing you need ( or maybe the very thing I need you to sail so I can go faster than youFoot in mouth)

I must admit Decrepit I did think about the weapon as the day went on. The water became flatter and flatter as the wind became more and more southerly and the weapon may have come into its's own.

Yep it's a doddle

Open normally in realspeed.

Figure out where your last proper trackpoint was then start at that track point highlight till the end of the file and delete, don't forget to save the original file though incase you cock it upWink

Great Work to all who have achieved PB's over the last few weeks, maybe the number of PB's accumulated by a team should be a challenge division
