Was just warming up when my bloody uni joint steel pin broke as I crashed I hooked my big toe on it which ripped my nail off my board took off one way & my rig started sinking panic what do I do well I swam after my board hopping the rig would still be there it was but my toe felt like my nail was flapping when I had a look it was still attached but it was ripped right back to the start of the nail with blood comming out shit what will I do as I was over a k out then I saw Pierre & Vando sailing up wind across the bay & waved as they passed me 4 times worring about big fish smelling my blood they didnt see me for about 30min which was not good with my nail flapping around in the swell. Pierre went in got me a uni so I could sail back while Vando watched me Thanks to both.

Nice day sailing a bit patchy , should have rigged bigger but cant complain , later had some slalom practice with vando.

Good that ya got back in glyn so i guess u wrap your toe up and we shall have a good session 2morow.

Plenty of wind at the Train! But not very flat with a lot of boats/ jet skis passing. Tried the small board at the end but only managed 1 knot more that the CA62- quite amazing how fast the big board is.

Glynn, I took a nail off once and can still remember how sooooorrre the skin is underneath

Wello and Lota. Measured 17knts, before I rigged up the freeride sail 6.5 on the Falcon 111 with Pierre's old fin Select Viper 35. Was practising my gybes and did not go for speed runs. Had a great day. Hope I can still sail tomorrow. Get better soon Glynn.

Great day at wello, I rigged the 6.7 however it was under powered some times. RS 6.7 , Exocet 62, C3 36.
