Meville beach with gusty SSW 15-25knts , weed getting thick in the Swan and slow going through the worst of it, tried one of Samuel's fin and felt very nice , can't wait to use it in better conditions.

6.4 Koncept 2010, F2 SXS 2008 [57cm], 32 Tectonics Talon

Quick blast [from the past] at Woodman Pt! Was fully lit on this stuff and tired quickly. Sailing out the back at Woodies is energy sapping stuff - have gone soft sailing on the River and Hardies!

Perhaps should have tried the 5.7 [still untried]. Some nice runs through the inside when I got the line sorted out [thanks Sam] and learned to anticipate what the kiters were going to do!

Ado was going like the energiser bunny when I left - especialy when I told him my display max was 0.06 knots above his!!!!

Looks like a nice SRM team effort!

Went to Peli with wind blowing quite hard. Decided to go with the 6.5. Adjustable outhaul cam slipped on rigging so used another (non adjustable) boom. Had planned a big hour and a run up to Melville. Instead ended up spending the first half hour ginning around with the outhaul and harness line setting. Wasn't ever entirely comfortable and numbers reflect that. Pretty cheesed off with what should have been a better session. Probably should have started with the 5.9. To top it off, one of the cams was very sticky and kept going clickity clack even when the sail was fully powered on that side, which played absolute havoc with the sails dynamics. annoying.

Nice work by the team at Woodies today though. Top numbers boys.

Great to get on the water again, to few and far between for me the past two years.
A lack of sailing time is showing but I will be on the water for a late sail tomorrow at Peli
Tabou 49 26 falcon 5.8 Ka Koncept and a lack of courage from the rider.

Nice sesh at Woodies with a few team mates and HEAVY kite traffic, but no incidents. It was nice to be powered up on the 6.3, though I think it is probably manageable in a few more knots than we had today. The rare sight of Craig Mann on the water was good to see, also good to catch up with Dr Langer who never posts but is always quick.

I really though there may have been a 40 to be had there today, but nobody got even close. I hit the wall with endless 37s.

Manta 49, North Warp F2009 6.3, KA / Lockwood 23.

EDIT; Alpha now in doppler

Nice going Ado - consistently fast all day.

It tells a tale when there is a knot between your 2 sec and 5 x 10 sec. Where to today?

Wasn't in the mood for inside gybes!Embarassed

Excellent work SRM's...it's good to see WA on top of the table ahead of those pesky banana benders!

Where to today? That's a good question.

I had in mind to go back to Woodies and give the Alpha a real solid crack, but the bagger situation yesterday was as bad as I have seen it. No agro - just heaps of them! I noticed a lot of them were speaking foreign languages so it looks as though Woodies has become - unfortunately - an "international" teabagging destination.

There is slalom at PP which would be good - or there is Hardies? What's your plan Pete?

Nice set of team speeds, guys.

Chris, they are all scared of your alpha prowess. Where's the back up?

We still have lotsa snot down our way, Crasher did a monster face plant at speed when he hit some with a weed fin.

It looks like a low tide as well, so buggered if we realy know what's going to happen

slalom at PP should be great tonight given the forecast - if it's anything like last week. Unfortunately, I have the end of School year party (for my daughters that is) starting at 530 Cry
