Lake connewarre today but as it turns out we should have gone  to the spot we have been waiting for  nearly six months. We went there first but the wind was a marginal 7.6 so we went to the lake. rigged and then the wind set in from the ese 25-30, perfect for swan bay!!. still had a good sail at the lake but crazy hard to get back upwind to the cars. went to swan bay on the way home........... it was what weve been waiting for,  considered going out, but many beersLaughingFrown wait for the nm from this place!!!

SE wind at 22 gusting to 28. Not a normal wind for the lake and I was a little over done on the 6.6. Great to share with Red and Jacques. Especiallly the couple of beers when we derigged. Thanks guys.

Interesting day. Honking Easterly at the lake. Some flat water to be had if you had the balls to go shallow, see jacques speeds, but couldn't really wind it up today. Had a lot of trouble bearing away. Maybe smaller fin?

Hey Cam, right around the corner. Hopefully. How are you enjoying the Qld warm summer days compared to our chilly south? Cheers Geoff

I am calling for nominations for team leader. I took on the role in the absence of Cam during his retirement due to lack of ticker. Now that he is back I nominate Cam. Please post nominations within 7 days and we will hold an election next Sunday.

Cheers Frant

That's what I thought. Frant?

Marcus, all you need to do is arrive when there is wind.

No asking involved, the whole Cremaster concept is Cams baby. and he has already gotten into the act organising the Point to Point

Correct me if I'm wrong but the whole "team challenge" idea (with the early challenges to SA and QLD boys) was Cam's, wasn't it?

hi all,

yes the team challenge was also cam's baby. A slab of beer {stinky SA beer at that) was the prize. He's the one to run the show, just don't put him in charge of rescues.. Last time I ran something at the lake we were sailig naked at 2.30 AM very smashed. Best let Cam do it...

by the way, dont ask him, just give him the job.

Hi Tony,

I remember drinking alot of that beerWinkLaughing.  Hope to see you at Sandy again in the near future.  Good to hear Cam is back in action.  Wondered why we hadn't heard anything from him.  Used to enjoy following the cremaster website.
