Evan (7124km):  1 categories  Trip down to Inverloch with Drift. Wind all over the place (strength) with some nice 16-18 knots spurts here and there. Forecast was for 20-30 knots from the SW. Lucky if we got to 18.

LOCATION: ANgling Club SAILORS: EJ WIND: S-SW-10-18kts GEAR: JP Excite Ride 135, 42 cm fin, Np Excess 6.9 DETAILS: Mid week session with EJ...looked very dodgy on the trip down..looked like there wasn't going to be any sailing. Wind came in for a few runs about 1.30pm Board felt really good today...just sweet and balanced. Managed to nail a few gybes...probably due to neccessity, as the strip ran out of water very quickly and there was no choice but to spin around! The nice thing was that you could sail constantly on the plane (hence the reasonable 1 hour figure) EJ looked a lot more comfortable on the Hellcat today...certainly more balanced and heaps quicker! | ||||||||||||||||||
