Went out for a quick early morning session before the rain came. Launched off the Sandbanks end of Poole Harbour...not bad in a SE. Really good to get out after more than a month off

The day before the first slalom event of the year (UKWA / BSA). Wind picked up very strong and Ant Baker came off the water using someones 5.4m wave sail saying that it was too big. I rigged up my small slalom kit, went out on the water and then the wind started to die on me! I got about 30 minutes of spuradic planing but it was nice to familiarise myself with the spot.

Spot / Conditions: Tenby South Beach (Wales), 18 knots
Kit: JP Slalom V 60, 5.4m NP RS:Slalom MK II, Tectonics Talon 30
Tech Details: Navi GT-31 V1.3 (B1123t), GPSResults v6.71, Doppler, Cubic Spline.

Well, the round trip was over 500 miles but I'm pleased to say that the slalom event that followed (Sat 3 - Mon 5) was excellent. Friday was just a short practice session when we arrived for the weekend competition. :)
