great fun today wasnt it. cant wait for winter. Stronger and clearer wind with a better tide so its not suicide chop. Nice going for the guys who went out today. I found it really rough and gusty. Wind swinging all over the place making nasty cross chop, and heaps of large 10 knot holes with puffs to 18, and then 30 at times followed by 8 or 12. Challenging but really good fun. I scared myself shidtless a couple of times today. woohooo.

snides you missed the best of the wind but it was dropping out all day like that. The chop was heaps worse earlier on and there was one nice strong burst that I reckon could have hit 30kts. The rest of the time the gusts were only mid-20s at best. It started dropping pretty soon after it went NW.

i missed the stack but saw the look on your face, not quite as stunned as Ian Grose a few years back in the same spot and needed to pack his gear up and get him driving to hospital with his broken rib!
