Nice to get out and shed some cobwebs after the wind droughtWink The standard 230 drake fin tends to spin out alot especially when bearing off through slight chop, so it may be time to invest in decent speed fin

Good to get out for a sail again at Port Sorell, especially with so many of the team on a cold mid-week day!!  The wind had been absolutely howling all day up until the time that the sand bar started to become exposed, at which point it decided to drop to almost nothing.  We all decided to rig and hope it would pick up a bit, which it did.  Ended up being a good sail with the crew, all of us trying to out do each other and find the best gust.  Well done Perks for taking out top honours for the day, and Izaak for your PS PB!!

Sailed Starboard iSonic W49, Serverne CodeRed 6.5 and C3 Venom 26.

Well guys done for getting out. I have been watching the Devonport airport wind readings all day. It did appear to back off around the time you guys went out. Its blowing a gale here at the moment and has been blowing hard all day. I couldnt get out today, nor tommorow. Great alpha Izaak.
