Cobbler with Joe, Mike, Pepe, and Snide

Wind NNW then NW 0-20ish hyper-gusty and cold water... not my fav sesh but wanted to test the combo!

RRD 53, RSR 5.8, 23 Ka fin (too gusty for the fin, need to be moving to work!)

Not the day I was looking forward to, but still good to be in the water and planing.

Used the thommen, 23cm ado and Avalon 6.0, combo worked well in the gusts, but fin was too small when underpowered, and that was a lot of the time.

Good to have the sail in some stronger gusts, it's absolutely stable, no shifting of centre of effort at all.

Trouble was the gusts were too short to do much with.

Started working at 5am this morning so I could skive of earlier for a play, as it was going to "GO ORF like a frog ina sock" unfortunately that frog bouncing around must have hit the "OF" switch, you can guess whaty time I hit the water can't you, You can guess what time I stepped through my front door as well.

Was feeling that confident of the forecast I got myself an Impact vest, they keep you supper warm and act like a girdle so you don't look as podgey.

Best part of the day was I managed to do a couple of stall gybes and sail out of them both Clew first, Thats a ridgey didge AlphaCool Yeah baby 100% MuppetCool.
