good to see someone else got out today! I had a great sail this morning at woodman's pt. Even got properly lit on the 7.8m a few times. That was exciting. No GPS tho.

BOM surface wind chart was pretty much spot on today.

Yep rocked up, rigged up and killed the wind. My wind killing skills are starting to really shit me.

I used the old GT11 to give the batteries some exercise, had a very funny result with the 2s, the display said 24.33. Trackpoints give me 35.01, 27.79, 26.75, 23.51

Doppler gives 27.76, 23.31, 21.58.

The 1st and 3rd trackpoits are obvious invalids, don't show up in doppler at all, but the 1st doppler and 2nd trackpoint are the same and I'm going directly upwind!!!!!!

Wish I'd also been wearing the 31, seems like the 11 was getting a poor signal for some reason, it didn't slip at all, was high on my arm and facing upwards.

The 23 is the best result that looks believable.
