Yarralumla, ACT, AU CA55+5.5 wave panther

gusty westerly 0-25 knots, did a lot of schlogging and spent a fair bit of time up to my knees in water, but got some gusts and got going pretty fast a few times

My first go on a Carbon Art-wow it is unreal ,needed a bigger sail and need to find the right position for the mastbase yet

superb board for planning out of loops and great for big floaty jumps ,so I know I will be happy spending lots of time on her

I can't believe how good it is at being a good allround board and the best long radius gybing board I have ridden in years(freestyles and even freestylewaves are poor at this)

Almost embarrased to post these figures in light of Akim and Ian's sessions. Embarassed

Spent lots of time slogging, but a few nice gusts from time to time.

Hi Keef, yes try Lake Illawarra in the big westerlies. Launched from Prymbie.  It's pretty flat. Low tide today the bear aways were limited by the proximity of the shallows. except for one spot near the channel.  The bottom is pretty even so you can judge the depth by the height of the chop.  Knee deep/ 50-60 cm is a safe enough compromise with not too much chop. Good to be powered up for a whole nautical mile. Haven't been that fast since last cup day at Sandy Point.

Did you say you were looping that board Akim?  Steady on there young fella.
