Kyeemagh NE'er 15-20

JPSS127-NP Hellcat 7.7 - Select 45

Been waiting a long time to get a nice NE'er session at Kyeemagh so I really enjoyed it out there with Mike and Troy.

Some nice runs early with the bigger gear - I ended up rigging smaller and used a smaller board, but buy that time the wind really kicked in I was too tired to carry on and called it a day.

A fantastic day at the Bay!! 10-25 knot nor easter, beautiful temp both air and water. Heaps of guys out, it almost looked like the 80's again Cool Had some fun drags with Michael but I was stuffed so I left him to it.

Used my Drops, NP RSR 6.7 and a 31cm Caspar GPS fin which was friggin awesome!!! Not one bit of spinout the whole day. Very very happy days sailing.

Fantastic day out on the water today. I spent the early afternoon blasting around with Dave and Troy on the big gear, then some laps with Rexy  up on the runway - and being overtaken on a speed run right in front of 200 tourists on Singapore airlines! The runway was really off and on today - sometimes you'd just get some speed up and the wind would stop completely and you'd have to wobble around a gybe and start to head back - right into a 25 knot head wind. A bit frustrating!

Fun but weird day. Wind promised but didnt really deliver. Came in like someone hit a switch, lasted an hour then went again. Just powered on my JP 68 and 7.8 RSR, Techtonics 42 which cranks upwind but feels draggy off the wind, probably me. Nice to be out in boardies and rashie. Lets hope tomorrow is windy too. Well done Cockies!!

Kurnell, NSW, AU

Kurnel on sat  - got out about 12 30 on supersport 118 and 6.7 - wind just kept building and by 3:30 pm was blowing 20-30 knots.

Changed down to a 5.3 and 84 lt freestyle wave and had a fantastic bump and jump session. Dunno what you guys wer doing at kyemah but kurnell was absolutly NUKING in the arvo.

Camaraderie dictates that I should say, 'well done to you all', but I just can't bring myself to say it! The wind, from where I was, looked SWEET!Cry

Somewhere in Botany Bay there is a GT-31 floating around with some very respectable numbers. Second one 'lost at sea' in a year. My kingdom for a gps case that a) doesn't let the gps fall out if you, heaven forbid, fall off and b) is still attached to your arm when you come in because this is getting to be an expensive habit.

Wow, what a turn out, sounds like a great dayCool

Congrats Spanners on the PBCoolCool

Andrew, I use a lanyard cord on my aqua pac as well as the arm band, do a slip knot and put it around the arm a bit higher up, have had a stack and ended up having the pac just hanging of the cord when it got ripped out of the arm band
