Another great afternoon seabreeze today not as strong as yesterday but still great to be out in the sun in the short wetsuit.

Good to have a few of the Blasters to sail with today even if Bondy got to the beach so late the best wind had gone Cry

Had some good runs out with Jak and Evan trying to compare speeds and found there's not a lot of difference even though our boards and sails varie in size and type.

Great session with a few of the Bonno crew - Jerry, Bondy & JAK. Longest distance out I've sailed in the bay so far - turned around and it took me a while to pinpoint any recognizable landmarks Undecided Coming back I had a nice long run slightly downwind and I think where I got my 25 peak.

Mistral Flow 105 and Gator 6.5

Got there a bit later than the others (Jak, Evan, Jman), and the wind had died a bit but still had a fun sail.

The water was very flat today, no real ramps or decent waves to jibe on and regretted not rigging the 7.5. Was always looking out when I was in the drink, 'cos last time I sailed with Jerry at Elwood, our illustrious leader claims he was badly stung by a fearsome "jerryfish". ….through his steamer!! …and here we were in our summer shorty wetsuits!!

Anyway, no jerryfish today.

Swapped to the green flow (93lts) to gain a comparison and found it much slower than the blue one today, which is no surprise given it's got less volume, a hell of a lot more Vee and is also heavier. (but gee it's nice to ride, just needs more wind)

Elwood, VIC, AU, Great session with Jman, Evan and Bondy from the team. Wasn't counting on anything happening today, but the good old Seabreeze made an appearance this arvo and I couldn't resist. Felt good with some great long runs out into the bay with the boys. Took the barge and the V8 and was very comfortable all afternoon.

Your not wrong Jerry - maybe the slightly smaller gear makes it more manageable on the water???

Good stuff Evan, top speed for today. I was hoping to get a 1hr reward and pleased it turned out that way after improving my gybing in the later part of the session. Was hopeless in the first hour.

Well done on the 1 hour Jak!

The jellyfish sting must of given me extra strength because Bondy always gets me to separate his mast for him now after sailingLaughing

Does that mean Jman has started to mutate into some kind of Jelly Fish super hero/villian?

Hehe... not sure which is more interesting, reading the days results or the comments by Jman and Bondy. Laughing

Well don JAK, nice 1 hr!!!
