Another great sail to end a epic three days at Stanley, tried a few alphas and yet another 26 knots alpha....very pleased. Took the 5.5 out and was looking to do another 40 but hooked a big clump of seaweed and broke a batten so i rigged the 4.7, still was a great sail.

Decent sail today at stanley, just couldn't squeeze any speed out of the kit!! No matter what i try just can't get any noticable improvements. Felt like the fin was holding me back a little bit so going to invest hopefully in a new one. Had 2 or 3 runs on izaaks kit and did my best speed on that!!Undecided......... Came within a whisker of an alpha pb, .005 off it!!! More days of wind still ahead, big rest up at home tonight or should i take dads new seadoo out for a wizzWink

Thanks fellas and Peter great to meet you I hope you found some nice wineries and had some reasonable weather for your visit.

Today just north of Bicheno they had 230 mm rain must have had some left over from our Qld mates and while we are on that subject we have been thinking of you guys up there in the catastrophic floods.
