OD6.0, iSonic50/Delta23, Sonic85/Weedspeed26. Melville. After some kms yesterday thought I would have a quick blat on the little board. Unfortunatly seemed to compound the frustrating aspects of a gusty Melville and I spent too much time swimming, Eventually changed to the 85, but got my best speeds on the 50, even my alpha. Had to get used to the 46cm wide board again - my early gybes had my back foot missing the board on the leeward side!

Futura 93, T4 6.0, Choco 32 - What gusts? The new T4 ate them up and made riding the 93 very comfy! 30 knots of the dial again and a few laughs with the 30 knot beers! Cool Great day!

Congrates Glenno & Nauli!!Cool

Changed to the 84L Cross & 34cm Choco & then back to the 104L

Started with a sail at Dutchies RRD FSW111 and Blade 5.3 for a couple of hours. I knew if I went to the river I would be missing my 112 so thought the beach was the best go. STill managed to drop in a Pt Walter for a short sail but it was not really that windy. Tried the 7.8 on the isonic 86 with the 23 slingshot. ( does not work with this setup) only got a couple of runs but spent those going sideways.

Good to see the team getting so many Pb's. Maybe this year we will go for the trophy?

CR 7.0; RRD X-F 102 then Sonic 85 then RRD X-F 102; Canefire 36 then Choco 34 @ melville.beach.wa.au

Gusty arvo....good NM's nigh on impossible due to big holes and rough water due to 10 million yachts!

But a great afternoon....concentrated on distance and got a PB...noice!

Bad luck with the mast Jay.

Plenty of the team out and 30 knot beers after...who could ask for more!! Life is good!!

On the back of Nilss amazing distance PB of Friday, I decided to match it or better it. Considering I sailed over 4.5 hours, ripped my hands up, damaged my back and damaged my mast I only achieved 109ks......., respect Nilss!!!!!

Started with my Isonic 122/ Canefire 44, Code Red 8.1 and was comfy for about an hour then I changed to my Isonic 87/ Canefire 32, Code Red 7.0- nice rig!

It's good to clock a PB, it's been awhile.

Some great runs with Steve, Nilss and Paul- a great day out!!!!!

Well done Jay ,now all you have to do is sail 50km,s today . then your arms will be sore  .Wink

pity about the mast , but you still smashed your old pb ,

big respect goes to anyone who sails over a hundred km's at melville , or as Snides calls it Shitville.

Agreed Nilss, Melville is a difficault place to clock up the ks, might try to better that result down at Hardies- want to come?

The replacement of the replacement mast is already in the car ready for the next session. I've decided that I'll keep this one 'n not snap like the others.

Thanks Scott, Sandy, Tobi for the comments.
