Felt overpowered at the end with my 7.0m, was really good practice with a smaller fin, bigger sail and overpowered sailing. Just too gusty at the academy end to get moving easily on the downwind run, once clear of the new wall all was fine.

my intention was to get a better distance but chop and lack of fitness made it hard work. nice to have a play on the sand bar anyway.

Trying day!!!...tried a couple of new to me fins, tried Kev's Simmer, tried to avoid the shallows, tried to keep going and tried to go fast! Tried to improve on my @500 and result....best @ for this year!

Jim Crossley (5677km):

Gusty conditions! First time on Falcon 121 with 8.0 2010 warp.  Nice bit of kit!

Griff (1642km):

An evening session in the fog. Wind dropping and gusty.

Woody (1630km):

Broken boom in the middle of the day. The tide coming back in made a good day despite the expense. The word is "concatenate" Norm!!

WOODY.......CONCATENATE....'Link together as in a chain, to connect in series'....big word for us Dorset lads!

Good speed you managed on our last of the month outing...well done.

NOTE TO THE PIRATES...Anticyclone heading our way, building from mid week.  Best we make the best of the next few days.
