Combined results of 2 sessions today. Isonic44, Overdrive 5.0/6.0, C3 venom 26. Green park huts. Tried the 5.0 but was underpowered so went to the 6.0. Best speed with this sail. Sun in your eyes makes it hard to see the marks.

Greenpark Huts

Real holey early, wind blew up late after most sailors had gone home.

Real windy then and choppy with horrible glare from the settting sun and the water blew away so had to stop for lack of clearance for the fin

SP3 48cm / Maui Tr4 5.9 / Mykz Wideboy 20 fin    ........later SP5 41cm / Maui TR1 5.5 / Mykz 220x28 fin

Greenpark huts

CA Freeride / NP Evo 6.2 / 320 vector fin?

fin too long grabbing the bottom in areas,  yes it was a good skim along on my back

feeling it today think I might have to stay by the car park next time save the slog.

blinder mile rob,

my gps was on the blink, sounds like we left just before it got interesting.

Nice mile Rob. The south bank looks like a long run. Need to follow you down there to get an idea of where you can sail without hitting the bottom.

Dan, looks like the chop wasn't bothering you too much.

Great mile Rob. Looks like you've found a good mile spot there, but how short does the fin need to be?

Matt got 43.3 kts on the kite, all on his own out there and still going when I left at 6.45pm....a good keen man.

Hey Rob, been checking your mile data.

A nice long run, you were going 2.5km and for the first 600metres you were at 115 deg off the wind and the last 1.2km was almost dead square to the wind.

Couple of good crashes there, one at 32kts ,(took 86 metres to come to a stop) was that caused by hitting the bottom?

A long walk home....1.4km....... keeps you fit!

By the way the wind angle yesterday was at 39 deg and we had 30 deg on 30th March when we got the best speeds. So it was a bit too far to the east, hence the chop.
