Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU  Another good crowd down at the lake. Took out the Naish Hybrid with 6.2 to try out the modified Select large weed fin.  Much better than it used to be but possibly a bit a bit big for the conditions. Changed down to the select size medium weed. Slippery, but yes Keef, it still crabs,  doesn't feel secure.  I'll give it the reinforcement and precision profile treatment

custom/custom weed/5.8n/prss wind west 20+, great day on the water with leo and ianK , LMAO when i seen leo minus the beard Smile didnt think he would do it, today reminds me of sampson leo hit close to 40 again but seemed to zupp all the strength out of him, ya leo another great effort

LMAO again ian turns up with his multiple concave  custom weedy and looks like something i would have madeLaughing and gets 33 knots on the dial onya ian great stuff

Happy with my numbers that lake dosn't give it's self up easily I had a very humbling stack at 36.3 kn a fortnight ago and still feeling it. Looks like my break from work and sailing time is coming to an end time to rejoin the workforce bring on windy weekends. you or maybe one of the locals might have an answer about the weed it seems to be getting thicker. I felt like a grounds man mowing an oval with all the grass I ploughed through yesterday. Is it seasonal I didn't think it was as think late last year or maybe we were sailing more so in the channel. Hope to be down before the weekend if all pans out otherwise till then Mate
