What a top day... someone was smiling down on me when I made the call and had the day off work to go for a sail! Smile

Started on the RS-4 6.2m and my 257ATV where I hit 30knots, thought it was getting windier and pulled out my brand spanker Severne 5.6m, but alas I was fooled... it dropped off again... still, it was nice to get it out for the first time since I bought it (over 1.5yrs ago), bring on 25+ knots with that bad boy! Cool

Always good to see everyone come out for awesome days like that too! Laughing

And anthor windy day on the water at wello , at first was a tad light but still took out the speed board it was just enough to get on a plane with the 7.0.

Did a few runs down the bank but it was too Northly and too broad and the chop was herendous coming down it so decided to do some runs across the bay and was hitting 2kts faster more than along the bank hitting some nice peaks of mid 34s but still not fully powered up...

Decided to do one NM run from king island to lota and actually the whole run was pretty consistant with wind but looking at the tracks the closer i got to lota the more wind started to desease bummer...

So when the bar got covered then the wind shifted direction to a NE making the runs pretty choppy especially through the entry of the run where you need to be fully lit but unfortuntly had to back off it was way to steep the chop to smash it through, but still managed a couple of high 35s ...

It would have been good if the wind played in our favor earlier NE !!!!Yell..

2nd time on the speed board and it is such a surprise how it handles the rough stuff it really hammers ..

And also the sonntag fin felt really slippery and total control in the heavier chop going downwind along the underwater bank , no spinouts what so ever just lock n load.

Good to see vando sailng with me today due to his work must sail later in the arvo Wink
