Futura 111, Lightning 7.8, Canefire 38 - All morning I watched the trees moving and so rushed through my jobs to be at the beach by 2pm. Got there a bit early and it was honkin!!Cool Rig the 6.5 or 7? Maybe use the 93 litre?Undecided Got the mast in the sleave and then there was nothing, wind gone......There wasn't even 10 knots!!@!CryCry 

Watched everyone drifting back and forth while saying over and over "it will come back". Gradually everyone was back at the beach and packed up. Still going with "it will come back" I rigged the 7.8 and waited... then  just after Mike and Vic left "IT DID COME BACK"!!!!!LaughingLaughing Not as strong but comfy on the 7.8. Just 3 of us out enjoying the high tide and very flat water. Great sail, which may have to last me a while...Cry

Persaverance and patience pays off. Well done mate.Let me know if you need a hand to get your gear down the river to teach your sister how to sail.I also have some soft racks temporary roof racks (something for them to hold onto so your gear can stay inside the car) if you want to use them.
