Arrived and it was 15-16kts so rigged big. Ended up 20-25kts Surprised

Had an absolute ball! The Lightning rigged really well on my old back up mast, best it's looked for a while. Knew I was in with a shot for a good hour, so kept going with a fair whack of outhaul. Very happy with results given the chop. Happy days!

Today was the Safety Bay session that yesterday should have been. More wind and the tide didn't come in as quick as I thought.

Finally felt like the Lorch was working well.

Loft Blade 6.3 was great and just needed more wind. Just outside a top 5 5x10 and second best for the year. Fastest average since March.

Only Slappa, Adam and Col out and Adam was smoking.

Alpha PB could have been up for grabs if the Sonic was still alive. Only did a couple of attempts.

LB6.3, Lorch div S-83, 24cm Elmo banshee weedy (wailing nicely today!)

Mettams to Sorrento - more wind this time but some light "patches" but fully lit on the 5.8 (finally) - some great chop hopping , no fins visible today which made it more relaxing.

Me, in the end there were too many preparations still needing to be made for tomorrow, so I didn't get out, and I'm feeling sad about that. I think my body is glad of another rest day though, I'm still sore.
