A nice sail at 45 with a few of the Invy crew. A good test for the new cast for my toe except the silicon hadn,t quite set and spewed out all over the board making it very slippery.Yell Made Alphas a challenge. Carn,t wait for the toe to be fixed and i can sail normally.

Nice "Downwind" walk of shame by Mick

Midday session. Wind building but iffy at 15-20 knots. Started on 6.6m Koncept and IS87 with Lessacher Duo speed weed 28cm. Switched to 5.8m Koncept and TM26 fin. Going back for more on the high tide now.

EDITED: After afternoon session. IS86, Time Machine TM26, 2012 KA Koncept 5.8m:

Went for a 1 hour on the high tide. Long runs! Laughing Pretty flat water over the shallows but murder crossing the channels. Did some nice gybes at the Yannakie end on really flat water. Improved my NM as well.

Must have fluked a good setup as combination felt much stronger than usual broad & upwind. Trying to get hooked onto something off the wind was very frustrating though.

Daffy - would have loved to be there.  Nice NM Kato!  My next posts will be sometime like May when the lakes around Calgary de-frost - hopefully I can help out during the aussie winter.  Would love to post some ice times but I think Nebbs and Hardie might complain Wink

Happy new year Pit Crew - See you all in a couple of years.
