Melville Beach, WA, AU

Shitty sail at Shitsville.

Couldn't get rigged right to save my life. Spent more time rigging than sailing.

Typical conditions but worse than usual with gusts joining holes and boat chop at 90 degs to wind chop.

so much for my long anticipated birthday sail of awesomeness.oh well, wife may let me out a few more times this year.

KA 5.8 & 6.6, S-type 92 & isonic 115 choco 30 & 36 and combos there of......anything i didn't use?

Did i say it was shite?

Melville Beach, WA, AU, iSo111, Reflex7.8, Sting38

Tried Melville instead of the usual Pelican Point. Although it was very up and down with the wind today, I liked the "dark side" for its flatter sections. I will definitely return, with hopefully, a bit more consistent wind. Still had really nice day on the water.

Pelican Point, WA, AU   Iso111, Od6.5, Fo42.

Big gusts and big holes but the gusts were awesome.

First time with the seat harness, it felt great, BIG THANKS BRABO I have seen the light.

Small window for a sail before work, on water at 2 off at 3.30.

Happy with the speed. The Nm was only the I tried and was powered up for most of it, had to go around one boat so might have been a bit better. Stoked with the seat harness, feels a bit different and will take some time to adjust but as Brabo said can really sit on the power.

Troutty out and about till his mast packed in.Cry atleast you could get back.

F yeah Raygun - well done this 111 is a magic thing- rock on!

I did 29km on the bike hillarys and Scarbs- but no substitute for a fanging seabreeze and some finned action.!

Arms still bit iffy - and todays ride did not help. Decision has been made - no LOC for me folks! Best of luck to all who sail it and see you at the start line as I talk up my injuries and slap you on the back!

(I blame too much work and not enough sailing time! )

Congrats Ray Gun (that 30 is getting ever closer)

Hey Baldy, are you sure the sail wasn't crap because of your advancing years (does this make you a Legend now - apart from in your own mind I mean). Missed you at Melville today as I didn't get there until 5:20. Was told by a few others it was crap so decided to save the energy for tomorrow. Only turned up to meet a guy about my sail, which he bought. Now need to find a 6.6 to go with my recently acquired 7.5 Koncept.

Take it easy with the backslapping obi one it may hamper the recovery time for the arm.

Ray gun, good speeds, and glad the seat harness is working for you.

Col, nice alpha. I saw a guy with a Blade making some really smooth gybes, I now know it was you. I will say hello next time.

Congrats on the corner Pb Col well done.

And Brabo, good alround sail and big distance.

Creeping up on it Diablo. funny though looking on realspeed, had 2 track points over 29. 2. but the other day for my session had 3 track points over 29.3 in a row and only registered 28.9/2sec on ka72, weird eh. cant work it out.
