Point Walter, WA, AU

Great late session with Lao, Norts and Trouty - 20 knot gusts, reasonably flat.

New fin felt fast - thanks Jesper.

Sweet day out at safety bay joined by Ricey, Tomski, Elmo and Slowy. Rigged 5.7 expecting great things but the wind didn't fill in as much as I'd hoped - should have changed up to 6.3 but too laaazy. The bar flattened off towards dusk, just as the wind was beginning to fade. Ricey looked good out there today and I think he now has the speed bug for sure Cool

Mettams Beach, WA, AU = 5m full on day, lots of nice faces out the back. not as much jumping as yesterday. Lulls still pretty strong.

congratulations JJ - I think thats it, your faster than me in all categories now !

Safety Bay, WA, AU

YEEES a decent PB of 34.7kts, and 5*10 secs of 32kts. Partly due to being able to follow Jake on the speed runs, if not quite keep up with him. And great to share PB smiles with Elmo.

RRD 80 (second sail on this board, which I am loving) with 5.8 KA Koncept and 25cm speed fin.

Record is from Garmin: I have gone carefully through the track file and deleted many spikes, so I think this is a fair record, despite it still splitting the session in two. Have the part to fix the GT-31 so hope to be back using that in future.

Honkin seabreeze today. Very happy to get a 2sec and a 10sec Pb on my big kit. I was a bit over done at times and had some big ass clenching, tailwalking moments going for naughties across the river and just couldn't seem to put a nm together.Tried a few runs a Wally World but it just wasn't working for me.

Awesome day today and hopefully more to come tomorrow. Might try the beaver if its going to be the same tomorrow.

Firstly, a big congratulations to the PB mob today!!Cool

Great to finally get my butt kicked by JJ who was keeping Recycle honest. JJ was flying on the new gear.Cool Even taking out the Snakey one for top speed!Wink

Ricey following my tradition of 4 knot PB increases!Surprised That is huge! Awesome stuff!Cool

Grumpy, saw your sail when I checked on WW from the other side after the W word. Well done on the PBsCool

Couldn't find my WW mojo. Had great fun with lots of runs in the 34/35 range but could not find a powered up bear away. Some great flat water at the bar but the gusts just weren't filling in behind the island. Didn't stop as I wanted to be sure to have something of an hour as a reserve in case it was needed. Chucked in a few alphas early on and finished with a heap. Pleased witha a top 3 result to retain some pride.Embarassed Sorry about the stolen Jellybeans.Innocent

Stoked to see so many of the team really getting the numbers up there. Well done!

Pelican Point, WA, AU

was pumped for a good seabreeze

first day of uni finished an hour early

so down to peli was really fresh so rigged small

got out on the water and was pretty happy sailed up to point walter to find a few crew up there

but wind dropped off when i arrived but was still some good puffs

extremely dissapointed to find that i couldn't even get over a 30 2 sec

had a nice run home downwind but over all was quite disapointed not surprised that the NM wasn't better was too gusty on the way home to hold a good speed for a long way

Awesome PB's JJ and Ricey.

JJ, I tried WW early in the sesh and just couldn't get it right. Sailed back to Melville thinking the wind must be the wrong direction but i guess you proved me wrong. Does it need more south in it to work? Was a bit more west early on.

Interesting that the team score increased in 3 categories, but did not include any PB's, on a day in which there were six.

Good effort guys!

Thanks Lao... easy, so I just need easy GPS againCool

Bugger... I think I would have had some good numbers yesterday.  The new CA slalom and new tectonics fin are a smoking combo... Had a really nice fast run from WW all the way back to kite land at Smellville.  Legs were knackered by the time I tried to gybe...
