Burrum Heads. Exo RS4, 7m Warp. 37SL10. I think the comp has started already with all the punters out on the water. Nice to see Pbs for all the visitors.

JP xcite ride 130 (if there's any board sponsors out there, I really need another board); Severne NCX 6.0; Select lightning 41cm:

Great day for a sail, should have taken the 7.5 sail as the wind was lighter than first thought. Fantastic to meet all the interstate windsurfers and even Jeffro made it! Cheers to Gail & the Captain for the after sailing drinks. My shout tomorrow!

Hi Greg, Hooray or Geoff-R are most experienced at Burrum, but here's my 2 cents worth:

1. You can expect 10-15 knots throughout the year with occassional 15-20 knot days. 20+ knots maybe once or twice a month on average.

2. The speed run shown in the pics above is best around low tide on a S to SE wind. The northern speed run (where the windfest ran on Sunday) is best again around low tide and in SE to E wind.
