Great after-work session. I wasn't brave enough to go deep downwind over the chop, so the numbers are pretty average.
I am used to dodging kiters at Pelican Point, but this time the threat came from two guys in dinghy. One of them cast his fishing rod just as I was zooming past. The line with sinker slung around my neck a couple of times and the hook got stuck in my skin. I came off my board not knowing what had grabbed me by the neck. There was fortunately no damage. After apologizing the two guys decided that Pelican Point was maybe not the best fishing spot when a seabeeze is blowing. Good call.
