A play day at Invy, keeping the Southerly Busters in line  A very high tide with chop in every different direction and a line of standing waves at the point where you just started to put your foot down and go fast. The wind also all over the place but still a fun session with lots of crew. Starting to get the 2012 6.6 working really well off and up wind without changing the settings. The only down side was breaking another boom. More stuff to buy

Mallacoota, VIC, AU   30k west to north west the tide decided not to fall speed strip under water all day symon and myslf tried hard to get 40 knots. to rough wind to west may be monday. how is your nose symon.    carbon art speed 55 sling shot 23 ka concept 5.8     first time on sling shot in rough chop handled it very well

A good and bad day, good to be on the water but a bad day as I crashed at this peak speed just as getting warmed up. A fair amount of claret, gash on the bridge of nose but nothin like Peter Johnston's effort. Too rough to try and get speed board going in these conditions but ok on slalom.

Made the fatal mistake of telling the old boy that I had 30.51 on the dial early in the rough which at the time was nearlt 1.5 quicker than him. I think this made him cure himself of his 2 day hangover and get a pb on his CA 58 slalom (good stuff ya old bastard)

 5.4m Overdrive is not working properly with the masts that I'm using, must get a new one before I really come to grief as every time I use it I get spat off. Think that I will try an rdm as at the moment it is very twitchy and not absorbing any gusts.

No exposed strip due to full moon high tides all day. Smooth water would have been interesting given the wind strength.
