Futura 122 Loft Blade 7.5.Nice sail in a 15-20 knot southerly.Boom broke on Warnersbay side of lake. Was able to swap best part of boom to other side and sailed back to Marmong. Was a 4 year old alloy boom so can't complain.Rigged a smaller boom and continued having fun.

Heat 2 NSW Formula Series - Day 1 - Wind SW 20-25 then SE 12-18

iSonic 97 / Mauisails Titan 6.5 / Maui Ultra Slalom 34

Exocet RS Formula / Mauisails TitanGS 9.0, TR5 11.0 / Deb R13 70,73

Lots of rigging practice today!  Southerly kicked in pretty early, so a few of us went on slalom gear for a blast because it was too strong for formula.  Found some flat water tucked up under the rock shelf so had some fun (and peak speed) there.

Swung SE and backed off so ran 4 formula races.  Need to work on my consistency - 5th, DNF, 0.75, 0.75! Lucky we have a drop. Top day of racing.

Marmong Point, NSW, AU

Sw 1-15 knots then southerly hit at about 25 knots. 7m Loft Blade, JP 68cm Slalom IV, Tectonics Spitfire 40cm

Gee, I'm a bad judge of wind strength. Just checked Nobby's (BOM Coastal Observations site) and gusts peaked at 15 knots while I was out there. Bloody glad it didn't hit 16 knots because I had more than I could comfortably handle.

25KN SSE came in as predicted. No short board gear...bad.. Bad mick, so waited 45 minutes and received a wind a beautiful 15 knts and

plus at times. No racing due to lack of numbers, still a top arvo'.

Vincentia, NSW, AU to windy for formula to start with, so we got some slalom in.It was very rough in the bay but behind the rocks was so nice to jibe and flat water.

such a lovely place to sail.

We ended up doing 4 formula races after doing some fun slalom.
