Nice sail at Bonno with the crew, pretty chopped out but good fun. Had an hour on the wave board before the wind backed off a bit then sailed out the session on the fsw.

I had a nice catapult out the back when I hit a deflated beach ball straight over the handle bars hooked in yipee! Frown

Inverloch, VIC, AU, Not sure how to post this, I have two SBN files because I switched off the GPS between sessions.

Session one on the Futura starting lunchtime in outgoing tide. Quite gusty, had a reasonable run before becoming very short runs at low tide, had a look at the middle channel, absolutely madness, completely out of control with the 6.2, but t hat was the smallest sail I had.

Futura 93, 31cm Caspar Speed Fin, NP Hellcat 6.2

Corrected data combined from the two sessions

Juergen, just open the 2 files in different KA72 pages.  Then pick your best results for each category and add your distance's together.  That'll do.  Was great sailing with you & your Bro in Law this evening.  Maybe catch you on the water Wed.

Jerry - when do you get down?  Any other Bono guys heading down for a summer break??

Inverloch again,

Bugger the second session is somewhat barred, cant upload the second SBN file, because I switched the GPS off between sessions.

Probably have to get the Captain merging my stats.

More relaxed sail on the Rocket after wind backed off a bit. Tried the middle channel again after Sav convinced me it's good,  sailed some additional Kays with Dan and my bro in law on his kite. Good fun.

Highlights:

2 Sec Peak 29.5knots

Alpha 18.98knots

100m 28.53 knots

5 x 10 avg 27.61

NM 20.46 knots

Distance another 34.53 kms

Tabou Rocket 105, 29cm Proline Slalom Fin, NP Hellcat 6.2

Good to meet you Juergen. Awesome session. As Col said, that second channel is excellent at the right tide and wind direction.

Thanks Pete, agree but it would be better without the dead wood and snags in that channel for some unsuspecting sailors running over it? I think I hit the same bloody submerged tree as Kato a few weeks back when he stuffed his board. Lucky I had no collateral damage, just a bruised ego dismounting from 28 knots to 0.

We'll have to let our local gardener know. He sails out with the bow saw around his neck to cut up such obstacles, great service.
