Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU.....A bit less wind than yesty so I rigged 5.9m 02, but the wind dropped so I took the 130 l JP Slalom.     Picked up a few squalls and also done a lot of slogging.    Home for lunch.    Cool/Innocent

Green Island, QLD, AU

On arrival at the island we were greeted by 30Knts and pissing rain,,,, luckily the sun finally came out or we might have got cold! Not what we expect when sailing for the winter cup, unfortunately the wind dropped back to a very on and off 15 to 20 but still great fun sailing with the mob and Bindi.

Used Isonic 90 and 49 overdrive 6.7..Cool

Illawong Beach. Barely 10-15kNt, a bit dissapointing. 7.5 Ezzy and 85 Wide Formula, planing consistantly but slowly. Rain squall come across a shut the show down. Still worth the sail.

Shame about conditions at GI Kel....Worse down here.

iS97, 7.0/7.8 RBlade, 37KA Sl - Lammermoor Beach, QLD, AU ESE 10 -15kn

Frustrating session.  Started with the 7.0 and never really enough but persisted with it right up until my relatively new boom cracked towards the back end sailing on an outward run. Pissed off to say the least.  Quickly gybe and changed up to the 7.8 but by that stage the wind had slowly tapered off making it a slog.  Even tried the 117W for one last run but alas I couldn't even get the big girl going.  There's always tomorrow....hopefully.

Another great day at Green Island. The wind was a bit patchy at the start but then came in full after lunch. Great to catch up with some of the mobsters. There was even a Tasmainian interloper (James) screaming around. There are more of the crew out there again today.

Windsurfing is an awsome sport which is even more so when it is shared with other enthusiasts.

Tried to get some GoPro footage of the day from the deck of my board. Unfortunatley the stick on mounts dont go well on the non skid deck. Thankfully the GoPro mounts do have a back up and it was not lost to sea. Maybe it will stick better with some sikaflex or mastic maybe. . . .  Standby for footage.

Sail: KA Koncept 5.8 (pretty old now)

Board: JP Super X 82l (pretty old as well)

Fin: Select Fin SL7 34cm

Had a great sail with young James Cool Although he was having too much fun sailing in only boardies no shirt and doing body drags, laydowns and other fancy gybes, needs to be told us FNQ'ers are serious players Laughing
