This is a new spot i have been sussing out for a while now, its has a lot of potential. Today it was NNW not ideal, it is going to be really good on a WNW or W. Certain parts of the runs are Sandy point smooth, if not smoother, the only catch is the banks have a bit of scrub on them and it seems to effect the wind a little bit making some points very gusty. Overall it is a very safe place with perfect clean water and a nice sandy bottom, no weedy needed, so on its day speed boards and speed fins will be the go, and this place will produce some big numbers on the right days.
I think when we get our big winter fronts and the are slighty to west for Sandy (which is all the time now)and our big storm surges, its going to go off, i will be definalty be back and for all the other local boys put it on your list of places to sail.
Today i just scoped it out on my slalom board and weedy but next time it will be differant.
