Sailing Club, Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

What a top day to be out on water! For once the forecast was better than expected.Sailed with Martin, Bill and Anton today down the channel on a nice relatively flat run on this W-WSW wind at 12-15k with occasinonally a bit more.

Bucket loads of weed in places and very shallow in spots made for a challenging sail at times. Still I think we all had some fun. Finally getting on with the 7.9 Vapor, used the SL10434 with BP weedy fin, seems to work OK. Boy there was some fantastic surf around the local area and could have made a different choice and had a great surf in 4-6' waves and peeling from the best ground swell I've seen for a while. Hmm. could be surfing the next couple of days!

My tracks today.

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU - sailing club, sailing with Gabe, Bill and Anthon.

Another great day in paradise. The wind was marginal but at the end, it turned up better than forecasted. Very flat water between the island and Green point. Sailed Futura 101 with Neil Pryde H20 7.7 and 34cm Weedster.

Hi Bill, You need to use Realspeed to do the editing. have a look at the realspeed website for the explanation. You basically highlight the portion of the data you don't want, then delete. Then post what's left. Otherwise Captain Mark can explain it better than me if you get stuck.

Left our GPSs on for the drive home. Is there an editing software option to cut out the non sailing part of the log?

Sounds like a great day for you guys down at Forster!  Wind and waves- some tough chioces.  That wind never quite made it up here- got 10-12 knots west max, then turned into a teasing 15 knot nor-easter as I drove to work- cruel sport.  Hoping for some wind today.

Gabe sound like Wallis Lake was the spot! Glad you guys got a sail in. There was no wind up here again. This has to be the Most Windless Winter we have ever had in NSW.Cry
