Primbee, NSW, AU    Not a day for a wave sail, strong to gale force. Posted before the big numbers come in.

Glen I saw it, that is quick, wow, you have the big Kahuna thongs.

Tabou 3s 76l         Loft 4.7 lip    calmer days to come.

Primbee, NSW, AU WNW to W, windy (!) with gusts up to 54 knots recorded at the airportTongue out.

A bit like a washing machine but some smooth water near the shore on the inside of the weed clumps.

Hard work, scary as sh*#t at times, but all in all good funLaughing. Started off on the small speed kit but found the W44 very hard to handle in the chop - very fast on the flat though. Clocked a 40 and then had a break and a bite to eat. Decided to keep with the 5m and swing over to the W49 and immediately felt more comfortable in the chop (and faster). I think the wind swung a bit more westerly and the water dropped a bit to create a nice flat strip near the shore. No way to avoid the weed clumps but the bfbp 50 fin was magic only giving the ocassional "tug" and being very stable. The sail was very nice, even in the 40 knot gustsCool.

Great to sail with the team (Terry, Tex, Stu), Martin,  Keef (of course)  and Nathan & Wayne. Hope you had a good sail Phil.

They are great speeds Stu, Glen has a pair of Big Kahuna thongs that will fit. Do you give lessons?

That was a fantastic distance in those conditions, how is your body holding up, and where is Tex?
