Toen we toekwamen was de wind niet sterk dus het grooste gerief genomen en dat was perfect...tot de wind sterk toenam en deze combo al snel veel te groot werd. De terugvaart van de buitendammetjes was een echte 'hellsride' die zal ik niet snel vergeten.

Leuke dag die gestart was met veel regen.

Jammer dat de hardste momenten niet lang duurden.

De set liep wel super vandaag en het was prachtig weer, dus zeer tevreden dat ik toch vroeg genoeg gaan surfen ben.

Leuk met alle bekenden :)

Voor mij mag dit elke zondag zo zijn.

Rainy start this morning and overslept.. was planning to be there very early but the late night (3 am) shif knocked me out. After the rain the sun came and also the wind was coming up! Rigged 6.6 and felt heavy at first but after a litlle downhaul it felt a little better. The fin was not good at all for this board, strange that is was not beter than the 32 10% I used the other time. Slippery stuff and no upwind capabilties.. Not a good combo. After a few runs went back to shore for a little bigger board (the Ray 130) and had some planing moment but not worth mentioning. Good it was a little sunny combined with some teammembers. <img alt=

Woke up at 4.30h because the best wind was gone be in the early morning. I started the engine at 05.00h for the 1.45h drive to Zonnemaire. Dave would do so also .

When I arrived the wind was gusting up to 22-23 kt. After rigging the 6.8 the wind dropped and the rain came in for over two hours. Finaly the wind filled in, clouds disappeared and sun came out. Wind was verry gusty all day long. Could go for higer speeds but did most of the session with the Falcon 124 and RS7 45; this was the best combo for the match racing. Posted runs were done with the 105.

Was a wonderfull day, even with the gusty wind I managed to keep planing all the time and did almost 120 km.

Especially the cruising towards "Hompelvoet" and back with Geert, Peter and Joeri in between nice waves was good fun. Some legs were over 8km.

Tim and Paul managed to do beautiful speeds in these conditions, respect for that!
