Unfortunately I can't back you up for the team results... 

I now know why I my speed never increased dispite my best efforts. The f-ing GT-31 was on, but not recording anything after my initial "test runs". Everytime I had a great run, I would look down and see the same 30 knot speed. I just couldn't understand it... I was convinced the the data was there and would show up once I uploaded the file.... unfortunately the Genie was "Locked up" and I have nothing to show for a great speed day. So pissed...

Dean, is this from memory card? Did you try to save this session on a new memory card or download from hard drive?

Thanks Boro, I always pull the card at the end of the day and use it for my data.
I did download the data after seeing this. I also tried "save to card" and checked the SBP file.
The SD card functions perfectly. The unit showed no signs of trouble. It scrolled through the Genie settings all day,
but only recorded my first few runs. Very Frustrating. I opened it upo to check for moisture, there was none. This is my
newest unit and has very little water time. (mostly used on ice). It seems to be working fine, but now I can't trust it at all.

It's become useless unless I can figure out what happened. 
I always use the "Key Locked" function, is this maybe the cause. Can it be "locked" at the wrong time?
If the case is too tight and there is constant pressure on the "key Locked" button, will this cause it to stop recording?

It's still a mystery to me. What a waste...

Thanks, Boro. Dean, maybe it's time you get a FlySight GPS. Better accuracy than the GT-31, it seems :-)
