Trial Bay, NSW, AU Solid n-e (20-25 knots). Basically over-powered for the first 2 hrs with my smallest sail- a 5.4. Then the wind dropped a fraction to a sensible 20 knots and I was sweet for the last hour.  Great fun when in control, plenty of mental jumps, scary landings and gybes around wave faces- gotta love those! Now where can I get a sweet 5 meter sail....

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU. A gusty N/NE which died pretty soon after I got out there. Hard time getting back in, but a lovely sunny and warm day, so can't complain too much. 7m GTX and 102 Falcon a good combo.

Sailing Club, Wallis Lake, NSW, AU

After a wild stormy night and a windy one too there was just enough wind to have a bit of fun. The cloud cleared to a great sunny day with a very gusty NNE wind out wide at about 15-20k and slowly easing.A few nice runs but way too off and on. Needed to be on water at 5.00am!Smile

Nice day on water with Rob, Chris, Martin and Veronica and Bill and Anton meeting us from the other side.Shortish session with SL104 34BP Weedy 6.5GTX.Went for another run after lunch with the 7.9Vapor, but wind was all but gone by then.Rob took some interesting photos while out there, which I'd post, but my graphics card is playing up at present , so it will have to wait. Thanks Rob.

My love/hate relationship with whiting beach continues. The tide was soooo high today you couldnt see the top of the rockwall. result: bumpy as a bastard. Just did a few runs to get wet and as I was a underpowered (or underboarded) I called it a day. I was supposed to be setting up the unit as Emma and Aidan are on the way up now - so it is panic stations now as i rush around and get the place ready. Looks like there will be some good wind up here this week.

Canton Beach, NSW, AU Southerly 15/18 knts and consistant. Miller and I hit it at 4.30 and sailed for a bit over an hour. Best sail in ages! Stoked!!! 7.5 Koncept 31 jp weedy 121 Falcon. Go Marauders!!

Umina Beach, NSW, AU Sthly 15-18 knots and fading. NP Atlas 6.2 Naish 98L freewave 26cm weed free fin.

A reasonable session to start with but high tide made it bloody lumpy & bumby. Also a 1-2m swell with no flat spots in between waves so it was hard work. Did a gybe in Shark Alley right in front of the Palm Beach Ferry which I did not see till it was almost on top of me. Bet he was glad I did not fluff the gybe. I sure as hell was!!! Oh well at least I got one in....Go Marauders.

Just got off the phone to G.Mac. Guys check out his post (Eric in the vikings) when it comes up. Town Green, 137litres and 80 something wide, and an impressive speed on such a big wide board. Those Mistrals have got something special going on there!
