Golden Beach, QLD, AU fun sail with big john and gav... exocet 105 / 40 mm fin/ severne 7.5 then wind came in stronger and went down to 6.5 and a 37 mm fin

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU...Started out on big gear till the wind kicked in about 2.00pm then rigged 7.0 o/d and exo RS3 35 so9.

Wind was gusty NW rubbish till about 2pm when it started to look like fun. Changed to the 113 had one run and hit a fish??? . Smacked into the boom with my leg (got ice on it now) Decided it really hurt and I was tired from all the gusty rubbish so headed in.

Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU  great sail, hardly stopped for 2 hours, great Freerace training.  After waiting and waiting the wind finally swung around enough from NW to N sometimes back to NNW.  Had some great runs straight across the lake with the 6.6 HSM GPS and JP 84, trying for an hour but a little too gusty and not quite enough strength, happy though as was a bit rough out there and a few fish about.  Good to catch up with Herby and meet Adrian from Double Demerits team and sail with all the others out there today.  Slow drive up and back as the old van as was starting to overheat.
