Gusty NW wind trying to hold off a westerly! No good for general sailing as so gusty, but OK for a few off-the-wind runs in the squalls. Thought it would have been howling through at Doran's, but just didn't happen.

Rough start on my brand new 2014 Ka Koncept 6.2 third run broke mast about just up from extension swam back and then took out the broken bit and extension but the rest was fully tensioned where the sharp bits went through the luff pucket just enough to pierce the material so couldnt de rig had to do a McGiver and get the trusty cordless grinder out of the van and cut the mast off through the boom cutout and pull the broken piece up through
Rigged the new 5.8 Koncept just as the wind picked up really good sail straight out of the bag, good day all up.
Started on the IS 76 with 6.2 then CA Sp 40 and 5.8

Just great fun, nice flat water, good crew out. Great watching the northern guns blasting and gybing.
I think I had too much sail up to be efficient in using it, or it didn't seem rigged right, but whatever. Still FUN!
Second sail on the CA, love it.
