Wow it had been 4 years since my last 40 and now I get it two days in a row Laughing

Had the Beaver all to myself today, Sammy was just packing up as I was heading out and there were only a couple of kiters and bump and jump sailors for company.

Wind was a bit lighter than yesterday but water conditions were about the same, weedy was very close to the surface approaching the slingshot and I could feel it gripping the fin

First shot on my re-hacked/ re-shaped fin and really happy with the results.

smashed into some weed clumps and got a bit spooked as I was the only one out there so did the sensible thing and packed it in early.

cant wait to get that fin into some flatter water.

JJ it was pretty dodgy again out there today, I could feel the weed on the fin as I approached the corner at the dredge and there were also glassy bits down the edge of the bar with weed right on the surface.

With the dredge where it is I am sailing right down the edge of the bar at the moment with the swell from the sound rolling over my track, I have found myself fully airborne on the run down a couple of times whilst still locked down. My old techniquie of running dead downwind to slow down before I round back up and head out into the sound also results in air as I overtake the chop
