Nice sail at Hardies - lacked energy after yesterday's session with the wheelbarrow and shovel in the garden.
RSR E4 7.0, RRD XFire V4 98, MxR UFO 40 degree 28cm.
A good turn out - good fun.

safety bay for a light wind session... apparently it was windy early by by the time I got there it was barely 20-22 in the occasional gusts out the back. Not enough wind on the beaver to go, and very gusty. Apparently the wind doesnt come in at Safety Bay sometimes. Melville was looking good on the graphs. doh!
Spent most of the time out the back and at Penguin Island sailing with JC and Charles.
At the end did some underpowered cruising in the pond.

Sailed powered up on the 7.8 r3, isonic 107 and ca36 for the afternoon was awesome training and lots of slalom including to downwinders from Melville and 2 speed runs only moderately powered over the sandbar at Melville.
Good slalom training with shane and Jesper, Although was far more exciting down at Peli in rough choppy 18-25knot short figure of eight course.

Mandurah, fun cruise on the estuary, started on the 122 with 8.6 not long and wind picked up
so went to change down and broke a batten while rigging 7.0 , had to use 6.2 instead and way under powered
when doing the 1hr, had trouble rotating the 6.2 due to broken batten at the cam in this sail as well,
apart from that it was fun, RRD 122/ 90, 8.6/ 6.2 Reflex 4.

Had to bail on a planned Mandurah mission due to partying commitments so opted for an early Melville sesh.
The water was super flat but more breeze would have been nice.

Day 4 !
This time, bumped into Slowly who turned up as I opened the boot. He kindly lent me his 91 and a 29 carbon weedy to try. Very nice I have to say ..... Good to have a couple of runs with the Boat, who was looking very comfortable on his 112 as usual.
