3748 days ago After worker at Peli Point. Wind was a little lighter than yesterday with lots of holes and glassy bits, which made for light footed sailing. Good fun practicing board trim in the lulls to maintain max speed. A nice debreather from work.

Wind looked good for 6.5 sail, but the head failed when rigging. Wind dropped so decided to go for 7.5m, but wind picked up so decided on 5.8m, then wind dropped so decided on 7.5m, which turned out to be really good. And I probably recorded a nm going backwards and forwards to the car!
Ended up really enjoying Xfire 98, 7.5.Turbo and 34 weedy. Got some planing gybes on the flat water, helped by the big sail.

Highlight of the day was an inadvertant one handed laydown gybe! Lost the front hand and the sail glided across parallel to the surface as I came down the swell. Grabbed it again with the front hand, flipped and made it! Where is a camera when you want one?
Really pushing the carving limits of the Guerilla today on the outside swells. Good fun.
