Kyeemagh NE, 15-20 gusting 25ish

Starboard Futura 121, Loft Switchblade 7.3, 40cm Talon

iSonic 90, Loft Switchblade 6.3, 32cm Goldwing

I met Troy over at Kurnell for a few runs - it was good to see him on the big gear! Back up to kyeemagh when the wind filled in for a few runs, then we had about 5 minutes of 25 knot gusts, so I changed down to the 6.3. After that the wind eased off, and I was a bit underdone, but had fun nonetheless racing Artur. It was good to see Katapult Dave back out on the small gear!

Isonic 97

NP RS:Slalom MK4 7.0

Sonntag SLP 35cm fin

Its been a while since I had a northeasterly seabreeze like that. Wind was light and full of holes at the start and built and filled in really quickly. Took my new Isonic out for its maiden voyage. The difference between 2009 and 2013 models is amazing. The old board felt stuck to the water and really needed muscling the fin to get flying. The new board is the complete opposite but still in control. It just flies.  Really happy with the fin as well as its grunty without feeling draggy and can be leveraged nicely to go upwind.

Since ive been out of action for several months its really nice to get an afternoon like that. My hands have blisters where my callouses used to be but very happy now that im icing my hands with a cold beverage.

Another surprising sail with nothing much forecast. Very gusty, swinging wind from NE to NNE and quite late with confused chop so no flat water.

Still bloody good fun with just a few out. Nothing on the ocean so the wind is just funneling down, happy with that. Cant wait for school hols to end so no more bloody kids in tinny's all over the place free boarding.

A cruisy late arvo on the big gear.

Very brief session at Kurnell, but I was desperate to try out my NEW MauiSails TRX!

iSonic 122, TRX 7.7 and 44cm fin.

TRX 7.7 on water

The new sail is Awesome! Full credit to Remi, thanks for importing these mate!

The sail feels incredible... Powerful in the lulls and controlled in the gusts. The harness sets farily far back down the boom, but works really well. 7.7 is my new 7.0.

Rig's "OK" on the old, wider 460 making the cams a little stiff to rotate unfortunatley.  Otherwise looks perfect. Leach twists massively.

Had a few runs with Ken and Brian. Ken was abit underdone on the 6.3, so I hope it filled in for you! Brian was fast, as usual!

Great day, but had to cut it short... double date to see the wolf.

Day of rude watercraft... first the boys nearly got run over by a boat.

Then I got blasted by a jet-ski that slowed down right in front of me, and nailed me with a water jet as I went behind me. Prick!
