Coal Point, NSW, AU 7.6m TR9 Maui RS2 Exocet 33 v max select

lovely weather and clean water nice sail.

had to much east in it so sand islands had no wind unlike what it has been all this summer.

still very windy at coal point and the slips nice with the 7.6.

Nice for Glynn to see how nice Lake Macquarie is all be it we did not get the sand islands lit up which is where he is staying.

You are quick mate in the rough always fun drag racing enjoy the next few days and your holiday.

good to see nick sailing again going quick.

Didn't expect the nor easter to kick in, but when it did I snuck out for an hour or so on the water. Really nice sail, 6.2 Atlas 115 Rocket.

Gutted I didn't get 25 knots, saw 25.05 & 25.12 after 2 great runs on the screen of the GPS. Will get there it's much clearer now what I need to do, just need more days like today, some more time to head further upwind for flatter water.

Didnt have the energy today but still nice to be on the water. Fell in more times than I cared to count. Shows I need more exercise.

Fanatic Ray 102, Reflex 4 7.0 Tabou 3S 106, Gaastra Poison 6.2

Gusty and oscillating at marmong today but stronger than expected. I Worked my way up into warners bay looking for some flat water and although it was gusty the gusts had a bit of grunt to them. I got motoring on the ray a few times but spent a lot of time pinching up into nasty ass windshifts. Warners Bay would have been ok except for the hundreds of bloody powerboats cutting it up. Last day of school holidays so hopefully the boat traffic will ease off a bit coz I'm sick of the sight of the rotten things. I got Jack of having my teeth rattled on the slalom gear and jumped on the Tabou for a while. It was okay but the wind died off soon after. Still an ok day though. Plenty of people out at marmong. Gurt last off the water as usual!

So  close Adam! The tip I was given that made a difference to my speeds was stick on the bearway for 10sec! That way your 2 sec + 10 sec aren't as far apart ( hopefully ) so you won't be robbed of as much when you upload.
