Lake Cootharaba, QLD, AU

Another great day on the lake. No one else out though. I'm not sure where every other wind nut is. I did see some impressive posting at Lake Weyba, so maybe I should check that out.

My big aim today was to get over the 28.5 kts in the chop. Mission accomplished. It might have been that one time when I was trying to chase down a tourist boat crossing the lake.

Board: 82L JP SuperX (10yrs old)  Sail: KA 5.8sqm Koncept (5yrs old with lots of tape on it)  Fin: Select S07 35cm (maybe shorter due to past Green Island sessions).

Well done Rico. Go and check Weyba in a SE. Should be less choppy than Cootharaba.

as jeffro said take a look at Weyba a bit flatter in a SE but runs not as long. We are hoping for a Freerace event at Weyba this Sunday forecast is looking good, come and check it out, lots of fun going as fast as you can for an hour (using GPS) Btw great PB in the chop I know how rough lake C can get

Cheers for the Heads up on Sundays possible freerace event.

Just checked out the forcast and its looking like a strong SE for that period. If its on I'm likley to be there ;) Who cares about the lawn anyway. . .
