Well Area 45 turned it on today - not the best day I have sailed there but it was good. Dozen Busters plus extras made it a fun time.
Great set up felt comfortable in the gusts. Felt in control even in the wild stuff - you know - 30cm rollers out the back!!!
Knew I was over 30kts but the pb's came as a surprise

Details: Solid easterly at @45, couldnt get settled for a few runs, then made some adjustments and it was Ok...
strange conditions with the wind against tide...created flat spots where they normally weren't and created chop in close to the bank in some parts.
Everyone came in to change down and for lunch about 2-ish and I got some nice solo runs on the slack tode.

A45 turned it on again for the IWC and others. Good sailing early on, becoming very choppy with the incoming tide later. Started with a KA Koncept 6.4 and 110L X-Cite, changed to 86L iSonic, then change sail to 5.3 Koyote as the wind picked up. Later changed the board to a 93L Lorch wave board for a bit of fun on the bumps.

Great day out with the crew. One of those rare days where the conditions were near perfect to push your personal limits. Consistent sailing above 30 Knots. Broke the phychological speed barrier. Looking forward to similar conditions with a smaller board for more control and even higher averages.
