Melville Beach, WA, Isonic 110 , 42cm volt  7.8 firewing.

Bit on with the 7.8 and the 75cm wide board with a few unwanted air sessions making things interesting.

7.0 R4; X-F 90 + Delta 27 (too optimistic) then X-F 105 + FB 34 @ Melville, after work, too late (caught up at work as usual!!)

Arrived late and it looked OK but the good old wind drop-out signs were there...optimistically plugged in the X-F 90 and the first run down the river was nicely powered up...this was the best NM run which should have been better but about half way through...BANG...shit, not the Nauli mast curse again...but the mast was OK...kept sailing but the sail felt all over the place...looked at the battens...all intact...so decided it was time to gybe...still all OK but again heading back the sail felt weird. Finally got back to shore way down wind, checked the cams...all OK, so dogged out upwind, boom felt loose and the sail still weird, gybed on the bank...and while heading back noticed that the boom extension clip had popped, so the extension was sliding back & forth. Anyway, got to shore, ran to car, taped up the clip by which time the wind had really dropped off. So finally struggled upwind back to the car and swapped boards. Only managed one half powered up down wind run on 105 on the bank.

So best NM on the 90 and best 2 sec on the 105.  Then when I got home to download I found my internet was offline...thanks Telstra.."maintenance in the exchange"...will be back on line in 24 to 48 hrs...I guess you have these days sometimes.

Paul, I will send tracks when Telstra are nice to me!

FatMatt, Good to see you got time on water. With all this practice you might actually get quite good at this one day. Keep trying mate.:-)

Nauli's tracks checked & verified Laughing

Good average speed because you were down to 19 knots at one stage Surprised

Yeah the 19 knots was probably when the boom clip went boom and scared the shit out of me! I think the max speed during the run was 30+ out in the middle of the river...could have, would have, should have...sigh!

Nauli, some really great performances of late. Congratulations! Is it a technique breakthrough or new gear?
