Its not often there is a virgin on Coodanup foreshore, but today was the day when I popped the cherry on my brand spanking new KaKoncept8.5. Wind was 10 -12 knots. water was beautiful, flat and clear as glass. (Which was a little unnerving as there are more rays out there than I thought). I spent the afternoon quietly cruising back and forth. Just exquisite. Huge smile on the dial just from the joy of being on the water, planing happily and soaking up a bit of estuary at its beautiful best.
