3628 days ago Waves, NC. Light wind session in the morning, but enough SW wind for the 8.5/117 l slalom combo in the afternoon. I think Waves is choppier than Avon. Went for 1 h with Jon, who sailed for the 3rd time this year and was a bit overpowered on 8.5. He was fine after switching to 6.8.
My BGT-31 froze up at the end, so I had to wait until the batteries were empty. Tried to open the case to disconnect the battery, but the screws are too rusted. Fortunately, the freeze happened close to the end of the session, so only a few runs are missing.
